Admire the stunning Community Love Mosaic Mural celebrating local pride at the 27th Street entrance of Wilson Park in the Sieveking Gardens.

The Community Love Mosaic Mural, located at the 27th Street entrance of Wilson Park within Sieveking Gardens in Granite City, is a beautiful public art piece, a lasting symbol of unity, creativity, and hometown pride. On July 2, 2026, in celebration of America's 250th Birthday, the mural serves as a permanent reminder of what can be accomplished when neighbors, businesses, organizations, and local government come together for a common purpose. Over the course of several weeks, hundreds of community members, businesses, civic organizations, and families painted individual ceramic tiles that were assembled into the finished mural. Each tile represents a unique contribution, but together they create a larger work of art which symbolizes that every person plays an important role in strengthening the community.
